Caroline Bingham went to meet an award winning county chocolatier
When Jenny Smith and her daughter, Elinor, picked too many strawberries one afternoon in 2005 they never dreamt that it would lead to a business which would take over their lives and home.
Caroline Bingham enjoyed the elegant surroundings and traditional English cuisine of Stoke Rochford Hall for Sunday lunch.
Caroline Bingham was one of the judges for the first of this year’s Cuisine Awards finals – Young Chef of the Year
What a warm welcome we received as soon as we stepped into the main bar of the Royal Oak. Plenty of snow was still lying on the fields and ridges of ice on the roads so it was good to walk into this cosy pub on Sunday lunchtime. Emma Bilenky, the landlady met us and showed us around the pub which she and her friendly team have made a focus of village life.
