A fantastic evening of fundraising and fun was enjoyed by all at The Barclays Charity Ball, held at The National Golf Centre, Woodhall Spa recently.

Di Jones and Janice Whitham, business managers for Barclays and organisers of the event, were proud to support two charities close to their hearts: The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and LIVES.

Entertainment for the evening included an auction and live band The Noobie Brothers.

The auction was a huge success with the auctioneer for the evening Russell Payne, from Russell Payne accountants, Lincoln, securing £700 from this one event.

Funds raised over the evening were matched by Barclays bringing the total for the chosen charities to £4,500.

Special thanks go to Manchester United Football Club, Lincs Aquatics Woodthorpe, J C Cook Limited Cleethorpes, Rushmoor Country Park, Blow Abbott Accountants Cleethorpes, R&Y Garage Louth, DMBs Photos, Grape Vine Horncastle, Clark Weightman Chartered Surveyors, Butlins Skegness, Trinkets at Home, Maggii Harper, Suzies Boutique, Grimsby Golf Club, Talkin Heads, Pleasure Island Cleethorpes, Cakes For a Cause, Dame Judy Dench, Ricky Hatton, Frankie and Bennys, JPW Fruit and Veg, Caxton House Hotel Skegness, Hazel Bennett, Paul Bramble and Hands on Therapy Woodthorpe for the kind donations for the auction and raffle.
