This electric van brings one of Volkswagen’s most iconic vehicles into the new era so that you can find new adventures, no matter where you are. The ID. Buzz is the next generation of the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV). It is based on the modular electric drive kit (MEB) platform and provides comfort and lots of space for long journeys. The MEB platform allows for different battery options to suit different vehicle purposes and budgets.

Space saving 

To offer you total flexibility, we paid close attention to the ID. Buzz’s use of space. This led us to create an interior design concept that includes an extra roomy luggage compartment so you can fully stock up for the journey ahead. Plus, the revolutionary flexible seating allows you to easily create even more space in a few simple steps.​

Augmented navigation ​

The ID. Buzz is a ground-breaking van. The AR head-up display projects directions straight onto the road in front of you. And thanks to augmented reality, the arrows always point exactly where you need to go. Reaching your destination has never been easier.

LED eyes

Instead of typical round headlights, the ID. Buzz comes with intelligent LED ‘eyes’ that communicate with drivers and pedestrians. For instance, if you’re about to turn a corner, the headlights will point in the direction you’re heading. If the ID. Buzz notices any pedestrians or cyclists on the edge of the road, it can even look towards them and use subtle light signals to let them know you’re there.​

Touchpad steering wheel 

Your needs come first in the ID. Buzz, which is why it's incredibly easy to drive. The cockpit does away with complex buttons and knobs, all of the functions can be controlled via the intuitive touchpad on the steering wheel. A simple tap on the wheel, and you’re ready for your next adventure.​
