This time last year who could have known what the great British weather was going to throw our way. 2010 proved to be one of the coldest winters on record with some significant levels of snowfall which simply refused to disappear for a good number of weeks.

Group Captain Leonard Cheshire, one of Bomber Command’s most courageous and fearless leaders of World War II, after completing 102 missions, was awarded the Victoria Cross in July 1944 - one of only thirty-two airmen to win the medal for an extended period of outstanding effort and sustained courage, rather than for a single act of valour.

Natasha Brereton and Kazunari Fukui were married in Lincoln Cathedral and held their reception at Branston Hall Hotel. The couple enjoyed a holiday on the Amalfi Coast with their parents after the wedding and will live in Singapore.

Natalie Verbo and Matthew Woods were married at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, USA. Matthew is the son of Mr and Mrs PN Woods of Waltham. The couple live in London and a UK reception was held for family and friends.
