With just three properties on Phase 1 still available, Manor Fields, the much sought after development in Washingborough by GS Jones & Sons will see work begin on Phase 2 this year.

Lincolnshire Life has previously featured several properties by this long established, family-run company but this most recent venture, Manor Fields, in this highly desirable village is their largest development to date.

Stephen Jones, director and one of the three sons of the firm’s founder, Glyn Stuart Jones, spoke to Lincolnshire Life about the newest properties to be released on what is an eight year scheme to provide 64 high specification homes on the 11 acre site. “Our priority has always been to ensure the quality and individuality of each property and plots 29, 27 and 23 are no exception,” he said.

Stephen Jones explained that properties in Manor Fields have been designed to reflect the rural location of the site and Phase 2 will include construction of a group of contemporary barns. “We have purposely avoided creating an ‘estate’ feel to this development and want to retain and enhance the appearance and vernacular of the architecture of this charming Lincolnshire village. The crewyard will feature a small cluster of three ‘barns’, recreated to be as authentic as possible with all the benefits of new properties.” These properties on plots 32, 33 and 34 are due for completion by the end of 2021.
