Taste Lincolnshire Autumn 2016
We are embracing the season wholeheartedly in our latest issue, with delicious recipes from some of the county’s most accomplished chefs and producers, which will really whet your appetite for autumn.
Mike Webster kicked off our travels when he visited one of Lincolnshire’s best-known and award-winning family butchers and bakers, the Hirsts of Woodhall Spa. I, meanwhile, was paying a visit to Colin and Bex McGurran at Winteringham Fields to see their livestock and vegetable gardens where they raise and propagate produce for their award-winning restaurant with rooms.
Our third visit was to meet Andrew and Louise Coulbeck of Grimsby who market their innovative salmon products under the Big Fish branding.
Our autumn issue would not be complete without ideas and events for the festive season. Our wonderful county based chefs, including Rachel Green and Steve Bennett have contributed some fabulous ideas for your Christmas celebrations.
We also bring you a preview of the Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair, which is held at the Lincolnshire Showground on the last weekend of November. A great place to shop for gifts and treats for the whole family.
