The specialist car dealership offers buyers iconic vehicles restored to the highest standards.
“if you are looking to invest in a vehicle don’t assume that classic equates to old,” says Neil Thompson of Woldside Classic and Sports Car in Louth. “Some of the most popular vehicles we stock can be as recent as the late 90s or early 2000s. Buyers can be assured we only purchase cars which adhere to our stringent standards and which we would like to own personally.”

Woldside was launched four years ago and during that time hundreds of delighted customers have purchased the low mileage, low volume models in which the company specialises, including many clients from overseas. Neil has a passion for classic Mercedes-Benz models, especially SL ‘Pagoda’ roadsters from the early 60s and 70s and there are currently five models in the workshops undergoing restoration. A model now for sale is a rare 1970 280SL Pagoda 4spd manual RHD in white priced at £120,000. Other vehicles include a 1997 Porsche 911 993 Carrera 2 cabriolet in Arctic silver metallic priced at £52,500 or a 1959 Fiat 500 Nuova 500n RHD in green priced at £20,000.

The team at Woldside are meticulous not only about the quality of the cars but are also scrupulous in trying to research the provenance of vehicles to give prospective clients as much detail before they travel to view it in the showroom. “We take high resolution photos and produce a video presentation of each vehicle showing all aspects of its appearance and performance so people can initially aspire to buy from the comfort of their arm chair,” said Neil.
