Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials

The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials has become one of the most popular and highly regarded events in the equestrian calendar and ranks within the UK’s top ten national sporting events by attendance. It is one of only six CCI 4* events in the world, the star rating denoting the highest standard of event and Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials is considered to be the most challenging of them all. This year the prize pot has been increased by 20% with a first prize of now £90,000 and a total prize fund of over £300,000.
With over 155,000 visitors expected, 600 trade stands (a shopping heaven) and 80 top class international competitor entries, this year’s Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials is set to be yet another outstanding event.
