Administrator

County Life Ltd (Lincolnshire Life and KM Media and Marketing) is looking for an Administrator.

County Life Ltd is the publisher of Lincolnshire Life magazine and produces a range of its own in-house publications, as well as a portfolio of media on behalf of contract clients. The company is based in modern offices off Doddington Road in Lincoln.

The role will require you to support the management team in the day-to-day running of the business with specific responsibility for administrative duties, including call handling, managing subscriptions and databases, invoicing and credit control.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, an excellent telephone manner, and a high level of numeracy and literacy are essential. An AAT accounts level qualification, and familiarity with Sage or similar software is desirable.

The position is office-based, hours are part-time (negotiable).

Key responsibilities:

• To manage key financial and accounting processes including invoicing, supplier payments, credit control and to prepare management accounts up to point of audit.

• To handle general telephone enquiries and oversee the management of magazine subscriptions, web sales and post.

Key tasks:

• Raise all client invoices and manage credit control system

• Manage supplier invoices and magazine contributors to ensure timely payment

• Prepare management accounts

• Calculate all wages/salaries

• Call handling

• To hold and manage petty cash account

• Filing of all accounting documents

• Assist the management team in managing cashflow

• Update and maintain publication copy and sales figures

• Manage subscription orders by telephone, post and internet

• Manage outgoing post

• Furnish printer with Lincolnshire Life wholesaler requirements

• Process retail outlet net sales data
