£0.00

Description

We are excited to see spring is here and summer will not be too far behind. These are the months to get out and about to experience the finest Lincolnshire has to offer. In this issue we have plenty of ideas for venues to visit and features which showcase award-winning businesses who call the county home.

Batemans, the Wainfleet based craft brewers, are celebrating their 150th anniversary this year. They have brewed 5G Session IPA to mark the occasion, which acknowledges the five generations of the family. Turn to page 6 to read their story.

Doddington Hall, near Lincoln, has opened The Grain Store, an addition to their café and dining offer. The café, restaurant and bar are showcasing Doddington’s estate-grown produce on their menus as well as other local produce. Turn to page 17 for more.

Lincolnshire Wolds based chef Rachel Green has recipes to delight featuring fresh ideas for serving fish and a showstopping strawberry Eton mess cheesecake dessert. Your guests are bound to be impressed!

Our leisure feature focuses on cycling in Lincolnshire. With our rolling landscapes and relatively quiet routes, the county is an attractive choice for a cycling getaway, whether that is just for one day, short break or family holiday. Turn to page 32 to be inspired to get pedalling.

As you enjoy the forthcoming hazy, lazy days of summer, be sure to nominate your favourite businesses and products for Lincolnshire Life Magazine’s ‘Taste of Excellence Awards 2024’. You can do this online or by post. Find more details on page 40 or at: www.lincolnshirelife.co.uk
