Young chef wins £20k bursary
Congratulations to Lincoln College catering student Maddy Ingham, who has secured a £20k bursary package to study at the Artisan School of Food & Hospitality.
Maddy began studying at Lincoln College in September 2024 on the Level 2 Professional Cookery course before progressing to Level 3, based at the Sessions Restaurant on campus. She continued to develop her skills in a work experience setting at The Old Bakery, the college’s finishing school restaurant.
We were delighted to meet Maddy last her, as she was shortlisted in our Young Chef of the Year category in the Taste of Excellence Awards. She took part in a three-course cook-off alongside some of the county’s best young talents. At our awards night at the Drill, Maddy was recognised for her achievement.
We wish her continued success as she takes her next step into the Food and Hospitality industry.
