Belton International Horse Trials

Visitors enjoyed three cracking days of first-class Eventing at the Belton International Horse Trials. The venue also hosted a variety of other activities including Dog Agility, an Inter-Hunt Relay, Horseball, Pony Club Mounted Games, a Classic Car Show and even the 10k Trail Run up to the Bellmount Tower.
For many the Eventing was the main draw, and they were not disappointed, as they had the opportunity to see some of the world’s greatest talents in the sport testing their skills in the beautiful county of Lincolnshire.

The Grantham Cup on the Sunday (19th April) resulted in a very international finish, with the American, Clark Montgomery winning on Loughan Glen. The Australian, Bill Levett came second on Shannondale Titan and for Britain, Kitty King came third on Persimmon.
