Morgan Motor Company delivers its first plus six demonstrators to UK dealership network

The first 50 cars will be built in ‘Moonstone’ and ‘Emerald’ First Edition specifications.

The arrival of the new demonstrator at Ledgerwood Morgan, Scunthorpe offers an opportunity for customers to try the latest Morgan, and the company would like to invite anybody interested in experiencing the new Plus Six to contact their sales team. More than 150 Plus Six orders have now been placed in the UK, with customer deliveries expected to begin during the fourth quarter of 2019.

The Plus Six is an all-new car that celebrates Morgan’s distinctive design. It features a BMW three-litre inline six-cylinder turbocharged engine and is the first model to be built on the company’s new CX-Generation aluminium platform. Fewer than 1% of its parts are shared with other Morgan models.

The Plus Six has a starting price of £77,995 inc. VAT in the UK. The first 50 cars to be built will all be First Editions in ‘Emerald’ or ‘Moonstone’. Priced at £89,995, these editions are fixed specifications and include a lightweight composite hard-top roof.

Grantham school joins Carol Service in celebration of town’s hospitalPupils from St Mary’s Catholic Voluntary Academy are taking part in the first Carol Service to celebrate the special relationship Grantham and District Hospital has with the town and surrounding communities.The school children will join in the singing of favourite Christmas Carols as well as perform their own set musical piece at the Carol Service on Thursday 11th December at 7pm, in St Wulfram’s church, Grantham.Deputy Head Teacher Olivia Mumford said: “The Carol Service is a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to share the joy of music while showing appreciation for the incredible work done at Grantham and District Hospital. It’s a privilege to support such an important event in our town."The Carol Service has been organised by United Lincolnshire Hospitals Charity, who work closely with staff at Grantham and District Hospital and provides those extras for staff and patients that NHS budgets are unable to fund.
