September 2018

Every year at the end of September the stunning Osberton Estate is transformed into an eventing Mecca.
Whether you are a seasoned equestrian fan or are simply looking for an enjoyable day out with the family, Osberton Horse Trials is a brilliant day out.

This year Osberton International plays host to not only top class eventing talent but also the inaugural Nottinghamshire Business Summit, a fantastic networking event for local enterprises. There will of course be the usual array of shops, from country clothing to homewares and of course equestrian retailers. Gates will be open to the public 27th-30th September, with high octane action guaranteed across the fixture.

Osberton offers a fantastic shop window to the future of eventing with the young horse championships. Many a top event horse has first been spotted over the Osberton course. Riders will travel from across the country to take part in one of the last international fixtures of the year in the British Eventing calendar.

Stuart Buntine, director of Bede Events says: “Osberton is such a special event, a lovely end to the season for the top flight young event horses! It is an honour to see so many flourish on the international stage in the years following.”

Osberton works hard to deliver its visitors everything they would expect from a day out in the countryside; world class equestrian competition, stunning scenery, acres of beautiful unspoilt parkland to explore and plenty of trade stands and an array of entertainment that will occupy the whole family.

In addition to the equestrian competition there will be a packed timetable of arena entertainment including a display of heavy horses, the Gate Jumping competition, which gets to the dizzying heights of over 150cm, the exciting Pony Club Showjumping and a visit from the local Grove & Rufford Hounds.

Tickets and full details of the four-day programme are now available via the website at www.osberton-horse.co.uk
