Richards of England, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, is a multi-award winning Aston Martin restoration specialist offering unrivalled expertise.

As the only Aston Martin specialist based in Lincolnshire, this multi-award winning company is at the forefront in offering exceptional classic car care and servicing, including spares and specialist refurbishment, as well as whole classic vehicles.

Richards of England’s Lincoln headquarters, set in a high security gated premises, houses a main workshop, fabrication unit, coach trimming shop, spacious showroom, storage units, plus a body shop, complete with paint booth.

Here clients can book an appointment to view their Aston Martin’s progress at any point during its restoration and enjoy a warm welcome with generous hospitality.

Although specialists in classic Aston Martins (especially DB5, DB6 and DBS models), ROE’s specialist team also works with other marques such as Bentley, Ferrari and Rolls-Royce and recently a longstanding customer is having his unique Ferrari 250 GTE restored.

Unique services
“We are unique in that we have an array of in-house facilities compared to other marque specialists, such as a fabrication workshop with jigs for chassis work, trim department, as well as a full bodyshop with state-of-the-art paint booth, so we can manage projects more efficiently and maintain quality control to our high standards,” says managing director Paul Richards.

From a young age Paul had always been fascinated by cars, art and design. Despite an impressive portfolio working on home projects during his teenage years, Paul struggled to find an apprenticeship. As a result, in 2006 Paul set up a home workshop for car interiors and fine tuned his skills. By 2008, he had established himself under the name “Richards Coach Trimming”, moved to a unit on the outskirts of the city and started specialising in classics.

“All of our expert team have achieved multiple concours wins for the Aston Martins they have previously worked on. These awards have been acquired from many prestigious events including Salon Privé and the Aston Martin Owners Club Spring Concours.

“No two cars are the same as they are hand-built and our attention to detail and obsession with perfection is evident throughout our work and across all elements of our business. When we complete one of our restoration projects, clients are presented with a handcrafted leather-bound photo book of its restoration journey, finished using the same Connolly hide used to trim their car’s interior.

“Whether you have an Aston Martin DB5 needing a restoration, a DB6 for servicing, or an Aston Martin DBS that you wish to sell, ROE’s reputation for excellence is evident across all elements of our business.”
