Tattershall Lakes
Investing in your own Lincolnshire holiday home is a tempting option and there are solutions to suit every budget.
One of the most attractive resorts in the county is located at Tattershall where the 360-acre site is in the shadow of the historic castle and planned around a country park with fishing, jet and water ski lakes.
Tattershall Lakes accommodates both static units and lodges on more generous than usual landscaped plots, most privately owned, which are used throughout the year by residents and holidaymakers. Although established for more than twenty years, the site was bought by Away Resorts in 2010 who have made considerable investments in a purpose- built leisure complex with pool, gym and sauna and have recently been granted a twelve-month licence for the resort.
Tattershall Lakes is very popular, especially with families, from across the county and further afield. As well as the indoor pool there is a club house with planned activities, an eighteen-hole golf course, fishing and an entertainment team organise events on site throughout the year.
Static units and lodges must be bought through Away Resorts and are then the owner’s in perpetuity. Priced from £12,000 for a static unit or £69,995 for a pre-owned lodge holiday homes can be purchased for cash or with finance. Units under seven years old can be managed and rented out by Away Resorts, who also charge a site fee, making your holiday home earn its keep when you don’t want to use it.
With plenty of space at Tattershall Lakes, new areas of the resort are now available with both luxury two and three bedroom lodges and up to three bedroom static units ready for this summer season. A popular choice is to start with a static unit and then upgrade to a lodge once people appreciate how much they enjoy the location and how much time they choose to spend there.
