The multi-award winning Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials is a major international equestrian and social event in the autumn sporting calendar.
The annual three-day Event takes place on 3–6 September 2015 across the picturesque parkland surrounding Burghley House, Stamford, on the border of Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire.

The prestigious Event, one of only six CCI 4 star competitions in the world, kicks off with two days of dressage (Thursday and Friday) when the world’s top horse and rider combinations demonstrate their control and precision in the main arena. On Saturday spectators can experience the adrenaline pumping exhilaration of cross-country day on a course that is considered to be one of the most challenging of all the CCI 4 star events. The main arena plays host to the concluding showjumping climax on the Sunday, when the winner claims the much coveted Land Rover Perpetual Trophy and substantial first prize.

Land Rover Burghley also offers a unique shopping experience with over 600 carefully selected exhibitors. World famous for its extensive shopping avenues, pavilions and food walk, the Event is the ideal opportunity for everyone from the avid shopper to the occasional purchaser to sample a wide variety of quality and luxury goods from exquisite diamond jewellery and artisan cheeses to equestrian paraphernalia and garden pavilions with a difference.

2014 was one of the most popular seasons yet, with in excess of 166,000 visitors passing through the gates across the four days of competition. The 2015 Event looks set to be as competitive as ever, so taking advantage of the early bird ticket offers is highly recommended, and what’s more, this year’s admission tickets for Thursday, Friday and Sunday are interchangeable at no additional cost.
