The Summer Polo

Mount & Minster, the local award-winning property professionals, proudly hosted a wide range of clients, fellow professionals and VIP guests for the Summer Polo Tournament. The two-day tournament, held over the weekend of 8th and 9th July, was extremely well attended with hundreds of spectators watching teams from across the country compete at various levels. Mount & Minster were on hand to offer their guests Champagne, Pimm’s and elderflower refreshments throughout the tournament, with co-sponsors Terravesta offering sausages and nibbles with the aid of the BBQ and their new miscanthus BBQ briquette range.

With twelve teams competing, the fast paced equestrian action was non-stop, with some exhilarating riding and nail-biting goals from start to finish. Mount & Minster sponsored their own team which was made up of nationally and internationally recognised and respected players including Francesco Ortelli from Argentina, as well as Ed Foster, Tom Mayfield and George Vere-Laurie. Mount & Minster went on to win their group with the highest number of goals being scored in the whole tournament.
