Imps secure Branston partnership for Championship Season

National potato supplier Branston has been announced as the diamond partner for Lincoln City Football Club for the 2026/27 Sky Bet Championship season, building on a strong collaboration now spanning five years.

The news comes during a key year, with the Imps having secured promotion to the Championship for the first time in 65 years.

Jim Windle, CEO at Branston, said: “It is fantastic to be partnering with the Imps for a fifth consecutive season – sponsoring all three playing kits, home and away, and also the Legends Lounge at the stadium. We are very proud to see players and fans alike wearing the Branston name on the famous home shirt and our Nanna Tate brand on the away kits. It has been brilliant to see the team performing so well over the past few years – wishing the Imps all the very best for the exciting season ahead!”

Beginning in 2021, the partnership has transformed from a sponsorship deal into a highly successful HR initiative, with Branston employees being able to access exclusive perks for themselves and their families, including match day tickets and mascot packages. Branston also hosted its annual Family Fun Day at the club’s Sincil Bank stadium last year, where more than 300 employees and their families gathered together.

Lincoln City’s head of commercial, Bobby Copping, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to see Branston on the front of our shirts for another season, as we prepare for what is an eagerly anticipated and incredibly exciting season in the Sky Bet Championship.

“Branston is a fantastic local business, who we have built a fantastic partnership with over the years, and we’re very proud that they will be continuing on the journey with us.”
