Elsie H Gollagher was born in Welbourne but spent her life in London during the war and America after she married a GI. Elsie returned to England, working for many years as an editor. She came back to Lincolnshire in the 1980’s. The 38 + 4pp, A5 sized A History of Benniworth includes archive photographs, historical registers of residents and marriages as well as a history of the village and its important buildings and landmarks.
