We have another mouth-watering issue for you, showcasing the bountiful produce of Lincolnshire. Our features go behind the scenes to tell fascinating stories, from the fourth generation of the Shaw family to be supplying their local community with fresh produce, to the much-loved recipes of the Padfield family which have inspired a new pickle brand. Made Great in Grimsby is a new marketing initiative which will promote the town’s fantastic array of seafood.

Steve Bennett, chef/patron of Healing Manor Hotel in Healing, has been working with the Alfred Enderby Smokery in Grimsby and we have included a selection of his recipes which show the versatility of their smoked fish.

On a festive theme, Rachel Green has recipes to turn turkey into tempting post Christmas Day treats while we have been looking at the wide choice of Lincolnshire themed hampers which can be ordered from county based companies. I know from experience what a treat it is to receive this type of gift and placing your orders can take away much of the strain of ticking off your Christmas list.
