Description

Healing Manor was purchased earlier this year by the couple who have been its operators since 2018. Charlotte and Steven Bennett have built an award-winning reputation for their fine food and business acumen. To be overall owners will give them chance to invest in even more of their ambitions to make Healing Manor Hotel a prime destination venue in the county. Read more on page 6.

Doddington Hall has realised a long-held ambition to have its own branded gin. Doddington Kitchen Garden Gin has been created in collaboration with The Lincoln Distillery. It utilises a wealth of botanicals from the Doddington Kitchen Garden. Details are on page 17.

Tiffin & Co Bakehouse was founded three years ago by Shannon Riglin. Her inspired bake recipes, hard work and talented team have taken the business from small unit to retail outlet, to new bakehouse in whirlwind time. You can read how Shannon is not slowing down in building the wholesale side of the business even further on page 18.

Steph Dexter is a county chef who has also taken the next step to expand her reputation and business. Steph took over The Swallow Inn at Swallow this spring.

The larger venue has already seen Steph and her team refresh the interior, install a new kitchen allowing them to expand their dining offer, launch live entertainment evenings and host special occasion celebrations. See our feature on page 31.

Once again I have run out of room to tell you more, so read on and enjoy the wonderful recipes in this issue, including brilliant festive dishes from county chef Rachel Green.
