Description

This art poster is designed to give a flavour of Lincolnshire’s rich heritage with its diversity of traditional building types, features and influences.

From stately home to lowly cottage, polite to vernacular the map reveals a variety of building materials. Wherever possible the images are positioned on the map close to their true geographical location, thus helping to highlight any links between local materials and construction – so on the bottom left corner there are a number stone properties over the limestone belt. This is a personal selection. Some of the buildings are chosen for their links to noteworthy inhabitants, others for their interesting or unique qualities ( for example the Old Rectory at Epworth, the gatehouse at Thornton Curtis). Several of the properties are open to the public. Poster illustrated and designed by Michael Oakenfull.

This poster is supplied in a cardboard roll. Price includes P&P.
