Tanglewood Care Homes is preparing to open the doors of its latest care facility – a stunning new care home to further support the people of Boston and surrounding areas. Avocet House Care Home will provide residential and specialist dementia care for 66 residents.
Tanglewood CEO Mike Whitehead said: “I am thrilled to announce that Tanglewood’s newest home, Avocet House, will be opening in mid-November 2020. Tanglewood Care Homes has built an outstanding reputation throughout Lincolnshire over the last 30 years. We are delighted to add Avocet House to our portfolio. Tanglewood Care Homes has a long standing relationship with LNT Care Developments and we are pleased to have worked with them once again to develop this fantastic care home.

“Avocet House marks the seventh home in the Tanglewood Care Home group. It is the start of an exciting period for Tanglewood as we intend to open another five homes in the next three years. We strive to be the local care home of choice by innovation, inspiration and excellence.

“Situated on The Quadrant development in Boston, Avocet House’s care team will provide 24-hour personalised residential and dementia care for 66 residents in a modern and luxurious setting on an inclusive fee basis.”

Avocet House is unlike any other residential care home in the area. Designed to give residents only the best quality of care, it will provide a lifestyle rather than a living environment – a touch of luxury at every turn with the comfort of residents at the forefront of its fabric. Each spacious bedroom has a large wet room en suite and for those who prefer a bath, the home is fitted with specialist assisted bathrooms so residents can sit back, relax and enjoy being indulged.

Residents will be able to enjoy all of the facilities provided at Avocet House; a film showing in the dedicated cinema room, pampering in the exquisite hair salon or some coffee and cake in the beautifully traditional tea room. Whether residents delight in companionship, sharing anecdotes in the relaxing lounge and dining rooms, or they prefer the solace and quiet of their own company in the garden room or sky bar – the choice is personal to them.

Avocet House will offer tailored care plans to individual health, personal and social needs. Tanglewood Care Homes consider themselves to be able to offer a home for life, providing dignity and encouraging independence for all. With over 30 years of experience in the care sector, the newest community can put your mind at rest that all of your care needs will be catered for in every situation.

Avocet House is taking viewings for potential residents and family members now. Visit the team and enjoy a coffee, cake and chat in the fantastic new environment that has been created – you will not be disappointed.
