BMW grabs top prize as all-conquering new 3-Series is awarded CCT100 Car of the Year award.

BMW has scooped the top prize in the Company Car Today CCT100 Awards, with the new 3-Series being named Car of the Year, as well as being one of three cars from the brand to win its sector.

The all-new 1-Series and long-time segment leader 5-Series also scooped awards as the industry’s leading fortnightly fleet title Company Car Today announced its verdict on the best cars in the company car industry.

“For BMW to make such an impressive step forward with a car that was already at the top of the class when it was replaced is hugely impressive, and shows what a great achievement the new 3-Series is,” said Company Car Today editor, Paul Barker. “Combine that with a successful transition to the 1-Series becoming front-wheel drive, and being better for it in all-round company car terms, and the 5-Series continuing to dominate its executive class, and it bodes well for BMW’s corporate success.”
