Duckworth Jaguar were delighted to welcome over 150 guests to their Boston showroom for the first retailer preview in the UK of Jaguar’s All Electric I-PACE.

Jaguar’s designers and engineers have rewritten the rule book with regards to new electric vehicle architecture. I-PACE occupies less road space than conventional mid-size SUVs, yet offers more room for passengers and luggage than models in the segment above. It brings thrilling Jaguar performance to electric vehicles. Next generation technology as well as future-facing design combine in delivering a zero vehicle emissions driving experience that remains unmistakably Jaguar.

The 90kWh battery, which has an 8 year/100,000 mile warranty, is positioned within the floor, between the axles, giving sports car agility with near-perfect weight distribution combined with a low centre of gravity. Linear acceleration is instantaneous with no lag or gear-change interruptions. The 400PS Auto AWD delivers 696Nm torque and goes from 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds. A sophisticated, all-electric powertrain provides amazing performance with zero CO2 emissions.

The I-PACE uses Permanent Magnet Synchronous electric motors and lithium-ion pouch battery cell technology. These motors are small, compact and efficient, designed to optimise range and performance. A full charge provides a range up to 298 miles on the WLTP cycle. InControl technologies seamlessly connect you to your car and the outside world. The ‘floating’ centre console contains the latest Touch Pro Duo infotainment system, which means that controlling all the car’s features, and connected devices, is incredibly simple.

Prices start from £63,495. (eligible for the plug-in car grant of £4,500).
