New launch is cause to celebrate at Duckworth Jaguar Land Rover

Nearly a year since the opening of their state-of-the-art showrooms and workshops at Kirton, near Boston, Martin Duckworth Limited are driving ahead with new initiatives and models for their prestige marques.
Ben Duckworth, managing director, is the third generation of his family to run the business and is justifiably proud of operating the largest family owned Land Rover franchise in the UK.

“We have always invested in the business and grown beyond recognition from where we began with my grandfather, James, nearly 40 years ago. With branches for Land Rover in Market Rasen and Boston, we still practice his traditional values of quality and service, which our customers recognise. We also have two magnificent ranges of vehicles in Boston with Jaguar and Land Rover. They champion commitment to innovation and the finest production values which drives us to be the best we can be, based in one of the finest dealer facilities in the East Midlands.”

Andrew Shaw, head of business, oversaw the recent launch of the new Jaguar E-Pace at the Boston showroom. “We were delighted to welcome so many guests that evening. Some were visiting the site for the first time. It gave us chance to show them the fantastic workshop facilities behind the scenes here as well as the next generation E-Pace.”

Duckworths have always forged excellent links with the local community and employ 80 staff at Boston. As well as taking the Jaguar brand to local events such as festivals and shows, a recent recruitment fair identified three new apprentices who will join their other fourteen vehicle technicians and be trained on site and with Jaguar or Land Rover. With first class workshop facilities, the site can now offer MOTs and wheel alignments in addition to the full range of services and repairs.

“The enduring appeal of our marques is their design and suitability for British roads and rural conditions. The Jaguar XF Sportbrake was launched in the middle of this year and we are taking orders for the I-Pace, all electric SUV, which will be launched in the third quarter of 2018.

“Land Rover has introduced equally exciting models to their range including the Range Rover Velar, with an urban twist to its styling, and more plug-in hybrids being introduced. Customers were delighted by the launch of the new Discovery this year and we are eagerly anticipating the reintroduction of the commercial model next year.”

Don’t forget Duckworths have an extensive range of previously owned, approved vehicles on site too and if you are looking for the ultimate in personalised gifts, book an appointment with SVO, Special Vehicle Operations, and have your Range Rover Sport styled to your taste and specification.
