The all new CR-V – the only car you will ever need

The fourth generation Honda CR-V builds on the strengths of the previous model.

Honda is aware of what the market demands and has improved the CR-V in all areas. With car like handling and refinement, along with class leading levels of economy and reliability the CR-V really is the car for all occasions.
For the first time the CR-V will be available in two-wheel drive. This model will sit alongside the four-wheel-drive derivatives. Two engines will be available at launch, both heavily revised from the previous models to improve efficiency. A 2.0 i-VTEC petrol sits alongside a 2.2 i-DTEC diesel engine. Both engines are available with a manual or automatic gearbox. Hill Start Assist is standard across the range as is Trailer Stability Assist, a must for anyone who tows.

Ride quality has been improved, making the CR-V handle very much like an executive saloon and great attention has been paid to reducing noise and vibrations entering the cabin. The four-wheel-drive capability is surprisingly good, enabling drivers to get out of tricky situations and offering them that added peace of mind when the weather takes a turn for the worse.

The styling has been updated, with LED daytime running lights and a sweeping rear light setup. The length and height of the CR-V have been reduced by 5mm and 30mm respectively. Honda has worked a miracle, as the interior is more spacious than ever and the boot capacity has grown by 148 litres to a class leading 1,648 litres. One-touch fold-flat rear seats complete the interior transformation.

As you would expect equipment levels are generous across the range, with climate control being standard along with stylish alloy wheels. The range starts at just £21,395 rising to just over £30,000 for the top of the range diesel engine model. As with the previous model residuals are expected to be class leading.

It’s hard to see how Honda can fail with the new CR-V. All areas have been improved while at the same time widening the range to cater for an even broader market. Affordability, reliability, practicality and refinement are all class leading – it really could be the only car you will ever need.
