Used car TV guru Mike Brewer adds his praise for a “truly classy car”.

The V90, Volvo’s elegant, stylish and eminently practical large estate car, has been honoured with the Used Executive Car of the Year title in the 2019 Car Dealer Magazine Used Car Awards. Volvo Selekt Approved Used Cars was also named Manufacturer Used Car Website of the Year. Announced at a ceremony in London, these latest successes for Volvo reaffirm how the quality, style and technology of the brand’s comprehensively renewed model range make for great prospects in the pre-owned car market.

Winning qualities
James Baggott, Car Dealer founder, said: “Volvo is a brand many car buyers aspire to, and while a new model might be financially out of reach for some people, used examples are affordable and are still loaded with an amazing array of safety and tech features, and of course that Scandinavian sense of style for which the brand is so well known. Our research showed the luxurious and practical V90 is a top performer in terms of residual values and days to sell.”

Television presenter Mike Brewer, a member of Car Dealer’s expert judging team and compere of the awards ceremony, added: “I love the V90 – it’s a truly classy car – and so do the customers at my dealerships. The only trouble I have is getting hold of them! They hold their value well, look fantastic and, in common with other cars in Volvo’s range, their clever tech and timeless Scandinavian design are appreciated by buyers.”
