Celebrating 50 years of LIVES

Doddington Hall (by kind permission of Claire and James Birch) was the venue for LIVES to take the opportunity to thank their supporters and responders, whilst celebrating 50 years of the charity in 2020. LIVES doctors, responders and members of their team were on hand to explain their work as well as giving live demonstrations on how they save lives.

From 1970 through to 2020 LIVES’s passion for providing vital skills in a 999 medical emergency to Lincolnshire’s rural communities hasn’t changed. Dr Cooper and Dr Harper-Smith pulled together to create a network of doctors to attend emergencies when time plays a critical factor.

In 2020 the charity can reflect on the amazing achievements that have been made to take it to the forefront of Community First Response.
