Fashion fabulous mother and daughter

Mother and daughter retailers Tanya and Danielle Hardy are making a big impression on the fashion scene in Louth this season.
Tanya relocated Orchid Boutique to 22 Eastgate from Skegness last year and in February Danielle launched Daniella’s, a ladies designer footwear store in the premises next door.

The handsome frontages of the two shops have large picture windows, ideal for attractive displays of summer collections but step inside to experience their full ranges and excellent service.

Orchid’s collections include Bianca, Frank Lyman, Michèle, Monari, Just White, Oui, Pomodoro, Viccio and more while Daniella’s has exciting ranges of sandals, shoes and handbags by Lisa Kay, Riva, Högl and Vanilla Moon.

Tanya and Danielle have put together some signature outfits for Lincolnshire Life this month, with coordinating shoes and accessories – stylish and flexible wardrobe ideas to take you from smart to casual to celebratory events over the summer and early autumn months.

“One of my favourite labels this season,” said Tanya, “is Just White. They have used contrasting fabrics so skilfully on their separates. The styling complements many different age groups; ideal for dressing up or down.

“I have some wonderful neutral and white espadrilles, wedges or flats,” said Danielle, “which are comfortable as well as absolutely on trend for this year.”

Orchid Boutique stocks fashion sizes 10 to 22, while Daniella’s stocks footwear sizes 3 to 8.

“The first outfit is a Frank Lyman dress (£174) and jacket (£84),” said Tanya, “with the striking hot chilli of the jacket accented in the black and white abstract patterned dress. Danielle has teamed this outfit with a Lisa Kay ‘Mary’ clutch bag in coral suede (£119) and a Högl sandal in chilli suede (£114).

“Wonderfully cool and feminine, these Monari white jeans (£99) are teamed with a delicate, 70s inspired soft green and blue, patterned Monari top (£89) plus a Monari linen jacket in sky blue (£99). The outfit has been accessorised with a Gaby’s necklace (£34) and a choice of Riva sandals: Cinzia in blue (£74) or a Ballerina pump in aspic silver (£99).”

“This is our interpretation of the nautical theme which has been so strong on the catwalks,” continued Tanya. “The Bengaline crop trousers by Ficelle are available in red, navy or chambray (£39). Either colourway looks wonderful with this Just White blouse (£99).”

“I have chosen three variations of espadrille wedges by Lisa Kay,” added Danielle, “which are not only comfortable and pretty, they also look wonderful with this trouser length. The pale grey ‘Becca’ with stud detail is priced at £79, the white lace ‘Clara’ is £84, while the silver ‘Kate’ is £99.”
