Hemswell Court Cancer Support Ball
Over £5,000 was raised at the Hemswell Court Cancer Support Ball in November, for the Macmillan Cancer Support Unit at Lincoln County Hospital, Lincoln Friends of Anthony Nolan (which finds stem cell donors for those with leukaemia and blood disorders) and PACT Sheffield – Parents’ Association of Children with Tumours and Leukaemia.
Sponsors included Lucyscottage.co.uk which provided a three-night break in North Norfolk; Swimby Private Pool Hire; Lincolnshire Hot Tubs; Camper UK, who provided a motorhome holiday; while Andrew Scott Photography and Gridline Racing provided some auction lots as a welcome boost to the fundraising.
The dancefloor was full with guests dancing to Freddie Mercury tribute, Karl Johnson. The Ball was organised by the Booth family as a thanks to these charities which helped their son Toby. It was a busy but safe event with all guests undertaking lateral flow tests beforehand.
