Sculpture at Doddington

The biennial sculpture exhibition returned to Doddington Hall and Gardens and the launch evening saw guests bathed in summer sunshine. More than 340 pieces made by 60 sculptors from across the UK and beyond were exhibited, with many Lincolnshire based sculptors included. Presentations were also made to the winner of the first Young Sculptor Award. Curated by Doddington Hall’s creative lead, Angus Forbes, pieces by nine entrants aged under 30 were exhibited in the Kitchen Garden. The winner was ‘Intersection’ by William Braithwaite.

Sculpture at Doddington is curated by David Waghorne and Kate McGovern and sponsored by Brewin Dolphin Lincoln. A large indoor gallery located in the Stable Yard exhibited a delightful variety of smaller scale pieces.
