Grimsthorpe Shooting Club
Grimsthorpe Shooting Club welcomed the Shotgun and Chelsea Bun Club for a morning of clay pigeon shooting followed by tea and cake.
The club, which holds shoots all over the UK, was formed by Victoria Knowles-Lack almost three years ago and in that time has created a huge membership of ladies, many of whom have no previous experience of shooting. The club is not just open to members, and they actively encourage first-time shooters to all their events.
The sun was shining, making for perfect shooting conditions. Novices, intermediates and experienced shooters joined together for a fun day of various group activities.
The participants then headed back to the clubhouse for homemade cakes and tea, as well as a presentation for the best shooters in each group, and the best cake.
