Speed Trials crowds bask in sunshine
Grimsthorpe Castle estate echoed to the roar of pre-war motorbikes and car engines on August Bank Holiday Saturday. Vintage Speed Trials, who organise the event, used the main drive as the track this year with the house and Vanburgh Courtyard a magnificent backdrop to the many historic vehicles.
Glorious weather drew a large attendance who soaked up the sunshine and the atmosphere of authentic vintage motoring. The event was sponsored by Brewin Dolphin, Lincoln.
