Thornton Curtis celebrate WI centenary
Thornton Curtis Women’s Institute held a Garden Party to celebrate 100 years of the WI. The party was held at the home of Ian and Helen Whelpton and guests were invited to dress in period costume, similar to the first pioneer members. A few spots of rain did not spoil the enjoyment of afternoon tea, fundraising stalls and entertainment.
