A delivery arrived while Karen Rowlett, owner of Hugo’s chatted to Lincolnshire Life. The new ranges for Spring/Summer 2015 are arriving every week and there is plenty of colour to brighten the rails and your wardrobe this season.
“This is a busy village location and Woodhall attracts visitors all year round,” said Karen. “I have a loyal customer base, some travelling from along the coast and beyond when new stock arrives. I buy with them in mind, sometimes for specific individuals, because I know the styles which will excite their interest.”

Karen is able to provide customers with almost a personal shopper experience, making sure she is familiar with sizing and previous purchases to maximise key pieces and combinations.

“The showroom features clothing which ranges from inexpensive separates through to sophisticated occasion wear. Above all the message from clients is that they want garments to be versatile, to wear for multiple events and have the option to dress up or down. I have some excellent labels, which combine great design with this practicality.”

For smart casual wear take a look at Passioni’s new collection of twin sets. Forget the pastel lambswool of old, these are bright, bold and beautiful. Viccio, a Spanish label, combines this season’s edgier look of mesh panels and dynamic fabrics for a chic and ageless style. Emreco separates and Steilmann skirts, dresses and jackets have a firm following every year.

Magee country wear and the NYDJ stretch fit collection of jeans are key items which form the basis of any capsule wardrobe.

For more formal evening and occasion wear there is Gina Bacconi, Michaela Louisa or Genese whose collections cover pretty day dresses, ideal for summer weddings, to elaborately beaded or sequined ball gowns.

Customers also appreciate Hugo’s quality and affordability. “I know that on some ranges I cannot be beaten for value. Frank Lyman is one of my most popular, and I price this premium collection very competitively,” said Karen.

“Above all, I love to see customers enjoying their fashion. Part of my job at Hugo’s is giving people the courage to try new styles. Combine this with affordability, great quality and service and customers really gain best value from their investment for the whole season.”
