Magistrates’ 650th Anniversary Ball

Lincoln Magistrates held a summer ball at the White Heather, Caenby Corner to celebrate the 650th anniversary of the Justice of the Peace Act, which was passed in the reign of Edward III in 1361.

Justices from the Lincoln area, along with court staff, came together to celebrate this auspicious occasion.

Magistrates nationally have been celebrating this anniversary, with a series of events including an exhibition at Westminster Hall and a Magistrates’ Association garden at the Chelsea Flower Show!
