Royal visit to county

During a busy day in the county HRH The Prince of Wales visited five places, starting with a visit to Louth Livestock Market. HRH is patron of The Prince’s Countryside Fund and the engagement marked the launch of the Farm Resilience Programme in Lincolnshire. He then travelled to Boston where he visited the premises of Freshtime UK, to hear more about their plans for recyclable and alternative packaging for their salad products.

Prince Charles is also patron of Age UK, so his next visit was to the Boston office of the charity. He then toured the National Trust’s 15th-century Tattershall Castle before ending his day at Holy Trinity Collegiate Church, Tattershall as patron of The Lincolnshire Churches Trust and The Almshouse Association.
