Tennis tournament marks centenary

Sandilands and Sutton-on-Sea Tennis Tournament, traditionally held during the first week of August each year, marked its 100-year anniversary with top tennis and celebrations.

president Mike Garrs, past winners, court owners and committee members came together for a special lunch at Poplar Farm Campsite on the first day.

The weeklong celebrations came to a close with a black-tie ball, which took place after the prize-giving on the final day.
