Award for Nancie Shackleton BEM
Washingborough Hall was the venue for a lunchtime presentation to Lincolnshire Police civilian chief officer Nancie Shackleton.
Nancie was recently awarded the British Empire Medal for her services to policing and her charitable work. The occasion was a chance for her to receive her medal with police colleagues who nominated her.
Former Chief Constable Neil Rhodes and former Deputy Chief Constable Heather Roach re-presented her British Empire Medal with the help of Harvey Phillips, a young man who two years ago benefitted from Nancie’s fundraising activities when she raised £13,000 to buy him new prosthetic blades.
