Wine tasting with Champagne Devaux and Henry Hackett
With the festive season in mind, Doddington Hall Wine Shop hosted an evening of wine tasting featuring a selection of seven Champagnes from Devaux. Henry Hackett from Devaux introduced the brand, which is based in Côte des Bar in the heartland of pinot noir in Champagne. Kate McFruin of Liberty Wines was host for the evening and added her own tasting notes as the wines were sampled. Refreshments included a welcome drink and a tapas platter featuring products sold in the Doddington Farm Shop.
