Stokes launch new coffee blends

Stokes has launched its retail line at an event at their High Bridge Café. Guests including Tastes of Lincolnshire’s Mary Powell and Visit Lincoln’s Emma Tatlow sampled some of the new coffees, which for the first time in 100 years will be available in local farm shops and delicatessens, as well as the High Bridge shop. Stokes, a family run firm, is launching the new coffees following demand from customers who wanted to have the unique blends at home. The new coffees include an espresso blend called ‘Full of Beans’ and a pre-ground blend called ‘Perk-Up’.

Nick Peel, the great-grandson of RW Stokes, said: “I want to bring Stokes into people’s homes – that’s why we’re launching this new retail brand, so people can buy it in shops around the county, rather than just the High Bridge café.”
