Lincolnshire Show 2013

What a glorious two sunny days we enjoyed at this year’s Lincolnshire Show. It wouldn’t be the show without a drenching at some point but luckily the rain held off until the very end on Thursday.
Crowds had chance to fully appreciate the Red Arrows display overhead, the parades of prizewinning livestock, main ring attractions, the shopping opportunities of the Mall and the delicious treats of the Food Court.

In the Lincolnshire Life marquee we welcomed the Lincolnshire Bomber Command Memorial Appeal team with the model of the winning design for the memorial and interpretation centre planned to open at Canwick Hill, Lincoln in July 2015. John Crouch with musicians and singers from the Hykeham Schools Joint Band provided us with entertainment on both days.

Thank you to everyone who entered our competitions and to Luck of Louth and Duckworth Landrover of Market Rasen and Kirton for donating prizes.

The winners are:
J Hayes from Southrey who wins a pair of Dubarry boots from Luck of Louth
J Parker from Metheringham who wins the use of the Land Rover Evoque for a weekend
K Eastmead from Lincoln who wins the champagne
