Spalding Flower Queen 2012 is chosen

The final was held at Spalding’s magnificent Ayscoughfee Hall and was won by eighteen-year-old, Amy Harrison.

Amy was crowned by the 2011 Flower Queen, Daisy Ivatt. Amy is studying for her A Levels and is a community volunteer with the scout medical team.

Amy’s first role as the newly-crowned Spalding Flower Queen will be aboard the Royal Float on Parade day, Saturday 5th May; the four other finalists will accompany Amy as her attendants for the day.

Follow the Parade from the Springfields Events Centre at 2pm as it begins its three-mile journey, finishing at the Sir Halley Stuart Playing Fields, with a free-to-enter finale between 4pm and 6pm.
