Baroness Thatcher honoured
A Champagne reception was held at Grantham Museum to celebrate the life of the late Baroness Thatcher and to support the museum’s project to commission a statue of Britain’s first female Prime Minister in the town.
Guest speaker was the RT Hon Sir Malcolm Rifkind MP who served throughout the prime ministerships of both Margaret Thatcher and John Major.
The evening also included a charity auction and the unveiling of new Margaret Thatcher exhibits.
