Waddington International Airshow 2014

This year’s Waddington Airshow weekend drew crowds of more than 140,000 with all tickets sold out prior to the event.

After an initial damp start the weather really picked up for stunning flying displays by the Red Arrows, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and many more civilian and military aircraft from the UK and abroad.

It has already been announced that there will be no Airshow in 2015 because of planned essential maintenance work to the runways but an online petition has been launched to ensure that, despite a review by the RAF of all its airshow commitments, the show returns in 2016. If you would like to sign the petition it can be found at: http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/67098
