All the fun of the show

Two days of glorious sunshine drew record crowds to the Lincolnshire Show this year. Contingency land had to be cleared to make way for more car parking space as more than 60,000 visitors flocked through the gates.
Attractions included the RAF Falcons dropping into the main ring, the Shetland Pony Grand National and the Kangaroo Kid stunt quadbiker.

More than 600 trade stands provided plenty of opportunity to sample delicious Lincolnshire produce, treat the children or indulge in some gift shopping.

On the Lincolnshire Life stand we kept cool with music from the students and Big Band from North Kesteven School. We also hosted the display and staff from the International Bomber Command Memorial, who sold their merchandise and updated visitors on their fundraising and spire official opening planned for October.

Lincolnshire Life ran four competitions and the volume of entries kept us on our toes for both days.

THE WINNERS ARE:
Tea for Two at The Old Palace, Lincoln: Mrs S Adams of Walesby and Chris Barney of Caistor
