Lace Housing Annual Awards and Presentation Evening

Held at the Bentley Hotel near Lincoln, over 130 members of staff, volunteers and friends were in attendance at the LACE Housing Annual Awards and Presentation Evening. Awards were presented in recognition of qualifications gained and service to the Association over the past year. Following a nomination process, further awards were presented to staff and volunteers who were recognised for going that extra mile.

Assisting in the presentations, the Association was delighted to welcome Claire Lomas, Patron of the Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation, its chosen charity for 2016. Claire shared the inspiring story of her life following a horse riding accident in 2007, which led to her becoming paraplegic.

“This is the most important event in our calendar, when we celebrate the personal achievements and invaluable support provided by our team of staff and volunteers,” said the Association’s chief executive, Nick Chambers.

As a voluntary non-profit making specialist provider of housing and support services for older people in Lincolnshire, the Association’s success has and continues to be a result of the invaluable support provided by staff and volunteers. This was an excellent opportunity for the Association to personally congratulate everyone.
