Spanish and Portuguese Wine Evening

During an evening of warm summer sunshine, guests at Doddington Hall’s Wine Shop were introduced to a selection of 10 exciting wines, ports and sherry from Spain and Portugal. Two knowledgeable wine ambassadors from Liberty Wines, Mary Wright and Kate McFruin, were hosts for the evening; as a Sogrape Iberia Estates Ambassador, Mary shared her expert knowledge of the local vineyards and each unique winemaker as she presented her tasting notes. As well as sampling each wine, there was added fun for guests with spot prizes.

Refreshments included a Portonic (white port and tonic) as a welcome drink and a tapas platter featuring products sold in the Doddington Farm Shop. All of the featured wines are available from the Doddington Wine Shop.
